About Fairy Hair
Fairy Hair is a fashion trend that creates the illusion of colorful, shimmery extensions or temporary highlights. Fairy hair is also known as hair tinsel, glitter strands, sparkle strands, or silk extensions. Its a safer and more fun way to add color to your hair without hair damage. Fairy hair is made of synthetic silk and comes in a variety of vibrant colors. It is attached to the hair at the root and can be used to create playful, striking and chic looks for ladies of all ages. Fairy hair is safe to use with heat (up to 450 F) and can be washed, colored, and bleached. It falls out naturally over time when your natural hair is shed.
Our Services
You can find Erin flying up and down the west coast of Florida from Englewood all the way to Alachua. Erin lives in Citrus County (Hernando, Fl) but spends a lot of time in the Englewood area visiting family. Erin does boutique pop ups, festivals, markets, private parties, fundraisers, and hosted events for large groups. For those local to Citrus County or willing to make the drive, she takes appointments in her home sparkle studio as well.
About Erin
The 2 most common questions asked: What's an Er? and How did you get in to doing fairy hair?
Er is short for Erin pronounced Air. Most commonly use by her close friends over the years.
Erin first learned about fairy hair while out to dinner and a beautiful sparkling head of hair was at the table next to her. The owner of the lovely locks quickly and proudly educated her on fairy hair. Erin began scouting where she too could have fairy hair and ended up taking her niece see Fairy Stephanie. Once she saw the sparkle in her niece's hair, she was hooked! Erin began her own fairy hair journey the next day and signed up for fairy hair school with Florida Fairy Hair. Soon after, Fantasy Flair by Er was born in the fall of 2022.
Erin has an affinity for all things glittery, sparkly, and beautiful! In the years since beginning her business, Erin has found the experiences had by doing fairy hair has brought her much closer to her community and many new friendships in Florida.
